The Memorial House shows visitors the life of families in the 19th century. The majority of the population lived from farming, with men working in the mines. The dwelling house consists of three rooms (front room, atrium, back room) and, as was the custom here, has a ‘corridor’ on the side. The furnishings evoke the housing culture of the period from the second half of the 19th century to the 1930s-1940s.
